Super Eagle's Players to Travel Along with Wives and Girlfriends for Russia 2018 World Cup: Permits, Coach Gernot Rohr

The Super Eagle's Coach - Gernot Rohr has given permission to his players to travel along with their wives and girlfriends to the 2018 World Cup, which will take place in Russia. The Coach made this known at a press conference which was organized by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to unveil partners and friendly matches for the team ahead of the competition.

The Coach first stated that the Eagles will come back home to see their loved ones before the competition. He also said; "it will be good for the players to meet with their families after a long European season”. The President of NFF Amaju Pinnick also added saying; "Rohr has the final say on this matter". I know other teams do it also but the buck rests on the coach’s table and what he says is final.

When questioned at  the press conference, Gernot Rohr said; after every game, players will be given a day when they can welcome their families, wives and girlfriends to camp, relax with them and socialize. According to him; "it will help the players psychologically and keep them focused for the task at hand".
