BEN BRUCE Called On The Executive To Be Outspoken In Their Activities

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce in his usual frank and straight forward ways of contributing to state issues yesterday at the floor of the Senate; while supporting a motion on the recent killings in the country called on the executive arm of the government to speak out and explain to Nigerians the recent happenings in the Country.  He was quoted saying; “People are being killed. We are becoming a barbaric Nation. The Executive should speak today and explain to Nigerians what is happening in this country. We either face this problem or everybody SHUT UP and RESIGN from public office”.
He also called on the security chiefs to be up and doing otherwise, they should be fired or resign. These were his words; “If the security agencies cannot do their job, then they must be fired. Enough is Enough”.
More so, while talking on the recent killing of a pregnant woman in Ekiti state by the Fulani Herdsmen; Senator Bruce said; “Nigeria is becoming a lawless country where there is no consequence for bad behaviour. I’m disgusted to find pregnant women with slit stomachs and unborn babies removed. If these herdsmen are allowed to rampage the way they are, then frankly speaking, they are a terrorist organization”.
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, since becoming a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is known to be very outspoken and passionate in dealing with issues that concern the Nation. He has always stood for the truth and condemns impunity and lack of patriotism
